homeschool programs

More and more parents are now looking to homeschooling as an alternative to the poor education found in our public schools. If you are looking for homeschooling in Texas City, Texas than www.GreatHomeschoolConvention.Com has something for you! Homeschooling is very popular, however it is the selection of a growing number of families recently. There are many reasons why, one being the faculity crime which transpire. Today more resources accessible to families, and there are more arranged events for home-schooled scholars, too. Perhaps you have looked at appearing at local home-schooling affairs!?

There are actually plenty of community affairs, plenty of them sports events. You will find affairs arranged where home-scholled students assemble collectively, and then there are affairs where these pupils as well as their families get meet with the community. Simply because an individual is home-scholled doesn’t mean that she or he is obviously found in their own home all thorugh school hours either.

There are also field trips and other scholastic encounters that students can take advantage of. Also, there is the opportunity for getting out in public, perhaps studying in the library or outdoors inside the park. Home Schooled students may even gather for lessons and study groups. There are many freedoms to homeschooling, including the truth that students can learn anyplace, not just behind the closed doors of a public school.

There are plenty facts of public schools that people are taking a closer look at more and more. Could they be safe? To be sure, you may still find big advantages to enrolling in public school as things stand at the moment. This can be especially true re the social attributes of students interacting amoung their friends for several hours daily. Aso, there is a set cyllabus and school environment expectations when it comes to conduct.

Educators supply the best instruction and they must be certified. Fathers and mothers don’t need to be certified to home-school their children. That may be a problem with homeschooling. You will see the nice elements and bad portions. Having been an educator, I choose to maintain things the way they are, but there are actually benefits to home schooling.

It’s a little bit depressing the schools are really messed up today with regards to security and the way they will be perceived. We all have fond recollections of being in classes. A person I am familiar with and like wants as an educator. I was previously a professor as I mentioned. And I have been aware of several countless professors. Home-schooling is an option, although the reasons for its increased popularity are mainly depended on public schools being under so much scrutiny.

There needs to be something done to bring back the impression that parents might assign their kids to public schools. We should do a better job. You will find a find a disconnect somewhere, and honestly, it’s not really near to being nearly the schools themselves. It is a general trouble, and if you ask me, a faith based issue, as it is everything.

Regardless, every home and family state of affairs is different, and home-schooling is a very nice option. Although I’m a supporter for reinstating public schools with their former glory, I am also one who recognizes homeschooling is excellent in the right kind of situation. Everyhthing has to be set up, including all social facets of schooling and joining events in the region. Finding a Confident Faith

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”—2 Tim. 1:7

God did not give us a spirit of timidity—but a lot of Christians have picked it up somewhere along the way! Many of us have become tentative in our faith and in our willingness to share it with others.

That’s why I wrote Confident Faith, and it’s why I’m excited to speak at the upcoming homeschool conventions on “Finding a Confident Faith.” I want to help us all become more bold and confident in these areas.

For now, let’s discuss four practical areas that will help us.

SEE SCHEDULE

1. Knowing God’s Word Builds a Confident Faith

Jesus said in John 8:32, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” He didn’t say, “You will develop Christian ideas,” but rather, “You shall know the truth!” Equally bold, He declared in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Notice He wasn’t saying He is a way, truth, or life, but the way!

And Paul wrote this daring declaration in 2 Corinthians 10:5: “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” Peter added: “But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15).

These passages capture the biblical mix of bold assurance and Christ-like humility.

2. Logical Thinking Helps Build Confidence.

It’s silly for people to condemn us for thinking we’re right—because aren’t they simultaneously thinking they are right in saying we are wrong? We all think we’re right. The question is this: where does logic and evidence point?

As we test various truth claims and evaluate real-world information and evidence, our confidence in the teachings of the Bible will be increasingly undergirded.

3. Evidence Can Increase Your Confidence.

Many reasons can be given for believing in the truth of the Christian faith. In Confident Faith, I present twenty arguments that form a cumulative case from science, philosophy, history, archaeology, and evidence related to the Bible. I’m excited to discuss these “Twenty Arrows of Truth” at upcoming conventions!

4. Knowing God Will Give You a More Confident Faith.

My friend Marie Little, the late widow of author Paul Little, used to remind me, “Mark, keep explaining to people that being a Christian is much more than just accepting a message; it’s getting to know a real person—Jesus!”

C. S. Lewis said, “To believe that God—at least this God—exists is to believe that you as a person now stand in the presence of God as a Person….You are no longer faced with an argument which demands your assent, but with a Person who demands your confidence.”

It is that Person who enables our hearts to cry “Abba, Father,” as His Spirit “testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children” (Rom. 8:15–16). When you combine that relationship with the broader evidence, it’s easy to see how it adds up to an increasingly confident faith—one that will withstand the trials and that we’ll be excited to share with others.

So let me urge you to deepen your knowledge of God’s Word, sharpen your discipline of clear thinking, get acquainted with the evidence supporting your faith, and strengthen your relationship with God. As a result, you’ll be a more confident Christian, and you’ll become a much more effective witness for Christ.

Mark Mittelberg will speak more on this topic in the Real Faith for the Real World teen track.
